Farm City: The Education of an Urban Farmer
This book was recommended to me by a friend who knows I like to tend plants. I’m no longer in the city (where I had a small back yard garden) but I still became engaged with this book. As a sometimes gorilla artist, I felt linked to Novella Carpenter’s command of someone else’s space that is really no ones space. Her energy of giving to the community is wonderful. Her foodie-ness was fun to follow.
There are animal rights issues to grapple with in this book.
